Welcome to FundSvcs.org! FundSvcs as a listserv was an inspiration I had while working at Duke University in 1993. Many areas of nonprofit management have changed and grown since that time, and I am proud to be part of the tremendous group of professionals whose efforts support the best standards and practices for nonprofit management in academic and other nonprofit environments.

It is my hope that the FundSvcs.org web site will also grow into an outstanding resource for the Advancement/Development Services community. The download facility in particular should prove an invaluable tool. But the only way that FundSvcs can continue as a great tool – as both a listserv and now as a web community – is for all of us who work in the field of Advancement Services to play an active role in sharing what we know. I sincerely hope that visitors to this site will not only take away but give something back by sending files to include on the site to my email address below.

This site is dedicated to being a resource where the most current information and the ideas of the best and brightest can be stored and pulled upon as needed. Your thoughts and ideas of how to improve this site as it grows are greatly appreciated. Please share your knowledge and experience with the greater community, and spread the word to those who aren't already participating in the list about the FundSvcs community.
